The Société de développement du Parc historique de la Pointe-du-Moulin (SDPHPM) was created by the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region key economic players in spring of 2008. In order to ensure the continuity of the Pointe-du-Moulin Historical Park for future generations, our non-profit organization took up the mandate of arranging guided tours and planning and organizing special events intended for the citizens of our different municipalities as well as the visitors from other regions.

Since 2008, the SDPHPM :

  • Has made the historical presentations at the windmill and at the miller’s home more dynamic.
  • Won two awards as part of the Seven Wonders of Vaudreuil-Soulanges regional contest.
  • Increased the attendance at the park by 42%.
  • Increased by 100% the number of events held in the park (Casino Night, Intergenerational Picnic, Cultural Day, etc.).
  • Opened the site to private events (Weddings, Receptions, etc.)

The SDPHPM needs your help!
Show your sense of belonging to the region and help us spin around
the windmill sails by becoming a member of the SDPHPM.
By doing so, you will benefit from the following:

  • Free access to the site for you or your organization.
  • Free or preferred rates for the rental of our facilities for family celebrations, social activities or wedding ceremonies (in accordance with your membership category).
  • Preferred rates on selected products or services (terrace, unique photo opportunities, conference rooms, private event facilities.
  • Select privileges granted upon certain events occurring during the summer months (e.g. Complimentary happy hour pizza)
  • Free passes for friends, members of associations or potential clients.
